Position: Development Planner
Job Summary: Under general direction and in compliance with standard operating procedures and policies, assists with administering the City’s Development Code and related ordinances. Conducts reviews to ensure compliance with land development regulations. Administers City Address Policy and assigns appropriate addresses. Provides technical assistance to City Staff and the public regarding Land Development regulations. Provides staff support for Planning Commission, Design Review Board, Historic Review Board, Board of Zoning Appeals, Staff Technical Advisory Team, and other boards or committees. Researches and prepares amendments to the Land Development regulations. Administers land development regulations. Investigates violations of the Greenville Development Code. Attends board, commission and community meetings that extend beyond the normal work schedule.
Salary Range: $57,800.00 – $80,200.00 Annually
