Planner II
Under general supervision, performs professional work in the research and development of plans and programs for community growth and development. Work involves implementing the Town planning principle and zoning ordinances encompassing comprehensive plans and programs for the utilization of land and physical facilities of cities, counties, and metropolitan areas; providing information to and meeting with the public, developers, and design professionals during the plan preparation process to ensure that plans for new development comply with the zoning ordinance and other development regulations, and reviewing plans for compliance once submitted; serving as staff liaison for the Board of Architectural Review and handling secretarial tasks related to the Board; and attending Board meetings for Planning Commission, Board of Architectural Review, and Board of Zoning Appeals.
Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $64,000.00 Annually
