Planning/Zoning/Business License Coordinator

Position Overview
Assists with the administration of the programs and operations of the Business License/Zoning Division ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Interprets, administers, and enforces all adopted regulatory codes and ordinances pertaining to zoning; meets with engineers, contractors, developers, property owners and others to discuss zoning issues.
Participates in zoning enforcement processes, including site plan review, subdivision review, variance requests, special exception requests, administrative appeals, etc.
Administers Business Licensing program for the City of Manning
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in planning or a closely related field. Two years of relevant prior experience is preferred. Valid South Carolina Class “D” Driver’s License.
Position Hours
Full time, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional evening hours
