Position: Planner, City of Grovetown, Georgia

Salary Range: Mid-Forties

Job Description: Perform professional, urban planning tasks, including the administration of zoning and development regulations, collecting and analyzing data related to city planning, land use and other uses and writing reports and memoranda.

Minimum Qualifications and Other Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a course of study related to City or Urban Planning; three to five (3-5) years’ experience in a similar position, reside within a close proximity to the City and possess a valid state driver’s license. Applicant must pass a background check and drug screen. Master’s degree in City Planning or related field and AICP certification preferred.
