General Job Description:
The purpose of the job is to plan, direct and supervise current and long-range planning programs for Pickens County, and to perform related professional, administrative and supervisory work as required. The class researches and formulates long-range goals for the organization related to the development and implementation of land use plans and policies. This position reports to the Director of Community and Tourism Development
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires degree in land use planning, urban planning, landscape architecture or a closely related or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Must possess certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners. Requires over three years of experience in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
