Planner II-Long Range Planner

Salary: $64,125-$70,537 commensurate with experience

Position Overview
Work requires knowledge of the advanced principles and practices of long-range transportation and transit planning and the relationship between long-range and current planning; considerable knowledge of GIS, Adobe products, and Microsoft Office and knowledge of current literature and recent developments in the field of planning. The ability to interpret and analyze technical information and to prepare and present technical oral and written reports and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, elected officials, partner agencies, and the public. Work is performed under the general direction of the Long-Range Planning Manager.
Successful candidate will possess:
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in planning, public administration, geography, landscaping, or related field with considerable professional planning experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A master’s degree in urban planning or related field and AICP is preferred. Hours of work: Monday- Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm.
