Hiring Range: $65,000 – $79,000

General Job Description:
Under general direction of the Director of Planning, supervises and manages the department’s long range planning team. Prepares comprehensive reports and presentations of planning project activities and recommendations. Works with other local governments to facilitate and coordinate planning and transportation projects. Conducts research and studies the impact of various private and public planning projects on the County.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a Master’s degree in urban and regional planning or a related field with a minimum of three to five years in urban planning with supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Strong computer skills and knowledge of GIS desired.
