2020 SCAPA Planning Awards
The 2020 APA South Carolina Planning Awards – Postponed to 2021 – Nomination Period is OPEN!
South Carolina has some incredible planners, advocates, and planning projects, and it’s time to honor them. If you know of great work that has been done in the planning field over the past two years, planning advocates that go the extra mile, and/or planning practitioners and educators that are legendary, then get ready to nominate them for a SCAPA 2020 Outstanding Planning Award.
The Chapter awards program recognizes outstanding efforts and achievements that advance the art and science of planning in the Palmetto State. Each of the plans, projects, organizations, and individuals recognized will demonstrate a contribution to the improvement of the quality of life for South Carolinians. SCAPA offers one of the few opportunities that South Carolina planners and communities have to highlight the virtues of planning and recognize those who contribute to the profession.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the awards nomination period has been extended to December 31, 2020 and the awards will be presented at the 2021 Winter/Spring Conference. In addition, there is no fee for nominations submitted by December 31, 2020.
The nomination packet is available by clicking here.
