2017 Planning for Healthy Communities Conference
The 5th Annual Planning for Healthy Communities Conference is going to be bigger and better than ever before. To start off, we are reaching across state lines this year and encouraging planners, public health officials, park and recreation professionals, city and county managers, and elected officials from North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina and Tennessee to join us.
We have also asked national and regional experts to share their knowledge and local practitioners to provide examples of promoting health equity, Health in All Policies, securing access to healthy foods, supporting active living, creative hospital initiatives, statewide collaborative efforts, and more.
